I've made a couple of things to wear, too... and even though they were far from perfect, I was kinda proud of myself for actually finishing them!
I am definitely a dabbler... although there are a few things I feel I'm better at than others- I no where near a master! I bead, sew, knit, crochet, limited paper crafts and whatever strikes me at the moment.

I have so many project lists, I will never die!!

Thank you for your nice comments on my knitted dishcloths. They are so soothing to knit as my mind wanders and relaxes.

Yvettemtnchildhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17457636624663214696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21605432.post-70693044689443615052009-06-28T20:55:21.891-07:002009-06-28T20:55:21.891-07:00I am most certainly a dabbler of the highest order...I am most certainly a dabbler of the highest order too! I dabble in sewing, knitting, crochet and embroidery -once in a while I even sit down and try to stumble through a couple songs on the organ but my fingers are stiff, vision is crappy and I was never a very good pianist/organist to begin with soooo. I am a master at none of these tings. I just keep plodding along though, in hopes that the old adage, "Practice makes perfect" will someday actually apply to something I dabble with.Jenihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16425701332785470116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21605432.post-84093954535315027792009-06-28T17:54:21.781-07:002009-06-28T17:54:21.781-07:00I'm a dabbler : ) After seeing the blouse-I...I'm a dabbler : ) After seeing the blouse-I'm thinking you're a master!Tipperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11714281090985487356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21605432.post-64258716833979046362009-06-28T14:21:02.425-07:002009-06-28T14:21:02.425-07:00Good for you! In my studio, there is supplies for: jewelry making, crochet, cross stitch, scrap booking, stamping, quilting,
watercolor, etc. It is fun to try different things And its healthy to learn new things. I like what you said about it making you happy. I have friends who do none of that stuff. They say they are not crafty and they don't enjoy reading. They are often depressed and unhappy. There is so much to do and so little time. As Frost said: I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep.
Mama BearLove Bears All Thingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04091529156071883508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21605432.post-26922456579421468292009-06-28T14:18:16.955-07:002009-06-28T14:18:16.955-07:00love the top! She was not a happy camper when my work life got so busy I traded sewing for crocheting and knitting. Then added counted cross stitch...and when I retired and had more time for that, I took up painting...and THAT has become my passion. :)

So now my daughter has all my counted cross stitch stuff...and she does it far better than I.Sherrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02277639511793322433noreply@blogger.com
