A Couple of Old Bags

Finally, the Rumble Bag. It turned out so cute but I couldn't seem to get a good picture so you'll have to take my word for it. This bag is SO roomy. I've got 4 boxes of cereal stuck in it here and it still isn't full. Yeah! Lots of room for those shopping trips. I'm thinking it's going to be a great yard-saling bag this summer. Simple, simple pattern that I managed to screw up. Guess there's something to be said for actually reading the instructions. I don't know why just looking at the pictures is never good enough...

This bird bookbag was made for Yolanda, so that she can pack her books around in-style. It's just not right to go anywhere without some reading material. I had to keep a close eyeball on Shilo before I got this bag mailed off. She was coveting it, so I may have to make up another one to appease the daughter. And maybe one for me. Can you have to many bags? Is there any such thing??

Wow! Loved those bags, especially the pink print one! Where'd you get the pattern and how difficult was it REALLY to make? Inquiring minds -or just plain nosy ones -want to know!

Those are cute!
And no, you can never have too many bags.
At a store one time my son said, "Geez, why do we always have to look at bags?"
Made me realize just how much I stop to look at them. Oh well, I'm an addict.

I love the book bag with the bird on it. You know I have a birthday in July.

that's just what my daughter says. We have our bags for different clubs and events, kept packed and ready. I bought a bag once that has cats and pumpkins on it, fallish. Now I want to try and make some for other seasons or holidays. I like the one you made. Makes a nice PIF gift.

Did you hear a big thump coming from across the bay? That was me... falling out of my chair when i saw your rumble bag! LOVE. IT! And laughing, because I don't read directions either. I just want pictures. I'm a RTFM-Uni dropout.

YES... next BOM, let's do it together! How fun that would be!!!

Paula,

I love both of those bags. They are awesome, but the first one is my favorite.

I didn't realize that you sewed. You've done a great job and no, you can't have too many bags when it comes to a shopping or garage saling.

Take care and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Blessings,
Mary

Too many bags? NEVER!!!!
I just last week switched from my Santa bag because I absolutely loved the shape and how easily I could find my stuff in it.
I like the first bag best, but either would be wonderful, in case you are wondering about my birthday!

I love the bags, especially the first one. I haven't had much time to do sewing lately, I'd have to clean up my sewing room first. You did a nice job on them.
