A Picture of Me...

Mary over at Mary's Writing Nook added me to a meme challenge one day last week. The meme is to post a picture of yourself on your site. Above is a self portrait drawn by myself at age 4. I still look the same~lol! My mom had gotten little kits where each of us kids drew something, then she sent them in and our drawings were transfered onto this plastic plates. I still have mine, but not sure if my brother and sisters have theirs.

Here I am for real. I am usually the one taking the picture and don't allow the camera to be taken from me very often for pictures of me. I don't take nice pictures and I don't like them taken. This is all you're going to get and it is a great representation of my evenings, knitting away.

I pick any of you who would like to join in to post a picture of yourself.
Happy Friday!

Paula,

Thank you so much for allowing the photo to be taken of you knitting. You are beautiful. Love the cat on your lap. You look very cozy.

You were a talented artist when you were a child. I love the plate and am glad you still have it.

I've entered you in my book giveaway. Good luck! And thanks for taking part in the fun.

Blessings,
Mary

Paula,

Your self portrait looks just the way I remember you looking at 4 years old!!! ;o) You look so cozy in your chair with the cat on your lap.

Love you dear friend,
Melissa

Wow--you still do look the same as you do at 4 :) You do look at peace and relaxed all cozied up knitting. I am not sure I can bring myself to posting a photo of me--I take horrible pictures--I'm always thirty pounds heavier in the pics than I "think" I am in real life..LOL

Maybe my sis will take one of me this week when she comes down and I'll join in after T-Day!

Not a darned thing wrong with that picture, kid! Love the cat sprawled across your lap like that. How the heck do you luck out and get a cat that will leave your yarn alone though? Ours won't even lay in your lap much less stop trying to play with my yarn as soon as I pick up a knit or crochet project.

Hi Paula:-) I've found out that you are my Ornament Exchange partner that Kathleen Marie is hosting so I wanted to come over and say "hi":-) I've got your package ready to go so will mail it on Monday. Looking at the drawing you had done on that plate made me smile because I have drawings my boys did at that age too and they did the body and hands just like you did! lol Love the picture of you...the cat just adds to the comfort setting:-) xox

I think my plate broke. But if I remember right, it had a clown & a ball on it.

Click, click, click. All these years I thought it was Santa and his reindeer on my roof. OMG... it was YOU!
