Sunday Stills - Self Portraits

This weeks Sunday Stills challenge could get quite ugly! Just joshin' - it's self portraits and I know that scares many of us, me included. I had plans to take a couple of self-portraits each day this week in order to hopefully catch myself at least once on a good day. Instead, I only managed to capture one day and it just so happens that I had been late getting up that morning and so had thrown my hair up in a barrette. I see that here in my favorite shot, it was coming right out of that barrette and waving around on the top of my head. These bad hair days happen ~ often! I've caught myself doing one of my very favorite things, reading on my lunch hour. And don't you think that books appropriate?

Great shot!! I hate being in front of the camera, but must admit I've loved getting to see the faces behind so many wonderful blogs today. :)

Great self portrait shot!
Does that book have anything in there about wild hair?
Just teasin'! I can't even see the loose hair you were talking about.

I always find that I'm more apt to be shocked by a good hair day than a bad one :)

Good to see you ... and what wonderful reading :)

Speaking of books, I CRIED tears of joy when I opened my mail today. Your gift is so wonderful and timely. Thank you SO very much for my Mister Rogers Golden Book. You were right to say that you "thought I needed it". You are right in more ways than you know. I dont think I am going to turn this one into a journal ... as I love it just the way it is.

You are wonderful and you have made my day --- and week!

Lots of Love,
Jodi
