Joy

Have you ever seen a happier boy? Brittany sent me this picture of our Noah last week. They were out the county fair and he was having the time of his life.

I pick Brittany and Noah up at the airport tomorrow at about noon, then we are headed over to Pendleton for my Grandparents 70th Anniversary party. 70 YEARS! What an incredible feat. If Paul Harvey were still alive, I'm sure that my Grandparents names would make his show this week. It's going to be such a fun weekend, filled with family family family. I am one of six kids and all of us are going to be there this weekend for the first time in about 8 years, along with aunts, uncles and cousins. With Noah there, we will have 5 generations represented. Can't forget to take a generation picture....

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Catch ya later~

Well, since Paul Harvey isn't around to do the honors of recognizing your grandparents' 70th anniversary, surely you -or someone -could get it done by Willard Scott on the Today Show, couldn't you? Staying together that many years definitely deserves a place of honor!
And what a cutie little Noah is too! How big as well! Seems like just yesterday you were waiting for him to arrive.

I know your are gonna have fun seeing everyone. I know I would. Our family hasn't had a get together in about 15 years.
Five generations? Wow! Definitely get those pictures.

That is quite an accomplishment, married 70 years. Most do not make it to 60 before one has gone home. My parents would have been married 60 in September of the year Mother died in July.
This will be a special time for everyone. I'm glad you're seeing all the siblings. Have a great time and enjoy that precious one.
