Story Time Stitches Has Begun

It's March and time for Story Time Stitches!   Stacey is the first one to post her Story Time project with this incredibly cute strawberry basket inspired by Hansel and Gretel.  I absolutely love it!  A perfect project for Story Time Stitches!

Have you started your project yet?  Give us a hint of what it's going to be and don't forget to let me know when you have completed and posted it, so that I can link you here and we can all oooohhh and aaaaaahhh over your sweetness.  (Also don't forget that at the end of the month I will be drawing a name from all the participants to win a special Story Time Stitches prize.)  Your project can be as complicated as you like or as simple as baking a loaf of bread inspired by the Little Red Hen or a pie inspired by the Three Little Kittens.  You decide, I just hope that you decide to join us.

Here are a couple of idea's that I have:

A sweater from Jan Brett's Annie and the Wild Animals

Raggedy Ann's Scarf and Market Bag

Mrs. Rabbit's Apron and a cup of Chammomile Tea

The fabric for Mrs. Rabbit's Apron is sitting on my ironing board, just waiting to be cut out.  Tomorrow night...as long as my plans can remain intact.

I can't wait for you to join us and to see what wonderful Story Time Creations you come up with!

Thanks for the wonderful ideas....My thinking cap is still on. Life has been a whirlwind lately and I'm still trying to catch my breath. One of these days, I'll get it together.

These are great idea's! Sometimes I just need some inspiration & a reason to make something.
Thanks for featuring my basket.

thanks for the reminder - how long do I have - or will I have to just submit my bag dress from paper bag princess?

I would be honoured for you to include my bag dress on your blog from the paper bag princess story :-) In my head I have another project up my sleeve too, but will have to see if it materializes or not! Thanks for the encouragement with family searching, Paula.

That is such a lovely idea for a project! I wish I had seen it earlier! Thanks for your visit-I am having such fun with the kitten! Barney is not at all sure about all the running around and skittishness though. I have started on his red chair-it is still at the flat pack, painted cardboard on the kitchen table stage at the moment. He is a very patient Gnome though!
