Freedom...

Shilo Christine got her license today. You can hear her singing "Freedom" as she drives away. She drove herself to soccer practice, then as soon as I got home from work, she wanted to know if she could drive to her friend David's house. He lives about 4 blocks down the road. Pretty silly, I told her. She didn't care.

Ah, to be 16 again...

The name of this store sums it all up-

I can still remember the day I received my license. The day after my 16th birthday. The DMV was closed on my birthday. I think about Cerys turning 16 a lot. It is only in 10 years and we all know how quickly time goes. That is why I love summer so much. We slow down and enjoy each moment to moment. Congratulations to your daughter. She is really beautiful and so grown up to be driving.
