Tea Towel Swap

My tea towel swap package arrived this weekend from Cynthia. Isn't this adorable? Cynthia traced this pattern from a vintage tea towel of her Grandmothers.

This one is so simple and so cute! She traced cookie cutters for the pattern. What a great idea. She did a wonderful job on the stitching and the picking out of patterns. These match my kitchen so well.

Cynthia also included these adorable seashell earrings. She is quite crafty, so I am sure that she made them. I had a hard time getting a good picture because the light in our house isn't always the best.

I had planned on baking banana bread with some old banana's that I had thrown in the freezer. I had them thawing in the sink when the mail came and much to my delight, Cynthia had included her banana bread recipe. It has peanut butter in it! The bread was demolished right away. She also sent along a recipe for carrot cookies that are on this weekends list of baking.
Thank you, Cynthia for a great package!

Your bread looks awesome, I have several bananas frozen just waiting to be goobled up in the form of bread. I might need that recipe!! LOL

Nice swap items, too this week. You hit pay dirt! :)

Glad you enjoyed the package I sent-and the banana bread recipe. I'll have you know, you are the only person I've ever given that recipe to! Anyway, you are right I did make the earrings, I took apart a seashell necklace and strung them on the wire. The rest of your swap packages were really neat too! Love the Christmas Card swap idea.

The tea towels are adorable and mean so much because they're handmade. And they're waffle weave which is such a nice towel.

I hope you plan to post that recipe for the banana bread with peanut butter in it. You can't mention something like that to us and then not share it! :-) Bananas and peanut butter are such a favorite combination, the bread must be wonderful.
