Cackleberries....

"Cackleberries - an old term meaning hens eggs."

I joined Wende, Monica and Kathleen last night for what Wende had originally called a craft night. We gorged ourselves on IZ's incredible artichoke dip, which Wende had provided gluten-free crackers for (thank you!), Kathleens to-die-for chocolate chip walnut cookies, and one cheap, very tasy bottle of wine. The stories were flying, the laughter was ringing out and not one stitch of crafting was accomplished. What a great stress relief after a long work week.
Thank you, my friends, for all the fun cacklin' that went on last night....

Hey Paula, Hurry and stop by my blog and leave a comment! I am giving a way some Valentine homemade art goodies. The drawing closes at midnight tonight and I draw a name tomorrow at noon...or my cat will. :) Your outing with friends sounded like a blast! Girlfriend time is THE BEST fun! I liked your post about gluten...I have been hearing lots about gluten lately. I'll be interested to read what you think about this. I LOVE my felt valentine and napkins! YOU rock!

I had so much fun with you all. I felt so at home with all of you and Wende is just THE MOST delightful host! We talked about a monthly get-togther... do we have to wait that long????

Good friends, cheap wine (which really tasted good BTW), creative energy, snacklishous food and a tolerance of me... I loved it and can't wait to do it again!

Paula, you really can't move now... you do know that, right?
