Baby Mobile
When Brittany was out back in April, we were baby shopping and ran across the cutest mobile that featured little felted animals. Brittany fell in love with it, but it was pretty pricey so I told her to just name her animals and I would make her one. About once a week, she calls and asks "Mom, have you started making that mobile yet?". "Well, no, but I fully plan on it!" The day finally came where I couldn't put it off any longer, so picked up my needle and thread and got to work. This is the finished project and I am tickled to death with it. Why did I wait so long?? Super easy too. I made up the little animals out of felt, cut some bamboo from my back yard and Wa-La, here we have a baby mobile flying it's way to Wyoming for Brittany's baby shower.
Here is all the little critters that make up this fun little mobile. Brittany picked her favorites, then I proceeded to make them for her. We have a butterfly, panda, cat, whale, penguin and crab. I had such a good time with this project that I just might make a few more and try to sell them.
Happy crafting!

Really cute! How did you do the butterfly though with the many colors? I looks on the photo as if it is a patterned fabric. Just curious. And, where did you get patterns for the little animals too or did you craft your own? Twenty questions here ya know!
But I really like that and think it might make for a nifty little shower giftie or to do up for our church women's fall bazaar too perhaps.
Oh, how cute it that???
it's precious!!
That's so cute! Love your beach pictures!
How adorable! One christmas I made a stuffed felt panda bear for my neice... I remember stitching & embroidering him for hours watching movies in bed. I love projects like that!
OH, Paula. Oh, Paula! That is just adorable!
This is the cutest mobile I have ever seen...you are so clever Paula! YES! You should make more of these and sell them! A Farm animal mobile! YEP! When my oldest girl has her first ( maybe in a few years) I am looking you up! Do you make your own patterns? I love what you do with felt. You are amazing! xxxooo
