From the Pig Sty

These three little piggies, Tulip, Jasmine and Daisy, came snorting and wiggling out of my wool felt pile yesterday. I've seen them in there for quite awhile now, but finally picked up the scissors and needle and let them free. I'm so glad I did. They have the darn cutest personalities and are so happy to be romping in our house instead of stuck in that flat old wool felt. Jasmine was happily trotting around the living room and I was just finishing up Daisy's final stitches when Shilo and Brittany informed me that they both required piggies to hold their cell phones. Who am I to complain when someone else loves my little piggies as well as I do?? So, Daisy and Tulip, instead of being little craft tool pouches, now spend their time munching down on cell phones. Shilo says her friends at work are going to be SO jealous. There are more piggies in that wool pile and they can be bought...

...Wagging their tails behind them.

I love these notecards that I recently bought on etsy . Aren't they gorgeous?? Yes, they do happen to be some of my sisters work. I was tickled to death when I popped over to her etsy shop for a quick visit and spied these notecards. Beautiful ~ my pictures here do not do them justice. Thank you, Susan. I love them!

Just wondering if you had any luck with the sock?

Nancy,
I haven't attempted the sock anymore yet. I have had a nasty bought of the flu the last few days, so put it aside for something easier. Thank you so much for the knitting site information. I will definately check that out. I know it's just something that my tiny brain isn't picking up right!

I finally "stumbled upon" the Etsy main page last night. I'm going to have to get my lazy butt organized and photograph my bibs and aprons I make - along with the boa scarves too - who knows, maybe I can peddle a couple things that way. Never can tell unless you try, right?

Oh those piggies are SO CUTE Paula! Seriously, seriously cute! Their backsides made me giggle - how cute! You're sister's cards are amazing!

Hope you're feeling better, and Noah Bean too.

Isn't it funny how a project can just be squealing at you out of the fabric pile. I am so glad you let the piggies out. I do hope Shilo and Brittany know what they are getting themselves into. It sounds like those piggies could be a little hard to control, or. . . .pigheaded!?
Thank you also for the sweet comments on the notecards. They sure are fun to do, too! Jordan is hoping I back off of the cards, though, and finish his afghan. I beleive he may have caought the same bug you and Noah were hosting last week, so really needs a warm blankie.
