Snow Day

Snow doesn't fall on our little rain forest world very often so when it does it is certainly time for fun and games. I was doing some cheery Christmas baking this morning when I happened to glance out the window and saw Dustin and his friend Lydon in a snowball battle. Actually, what caught my attention first was the thunk! on the window as a renegade snowball missed it's intended mark. (Or was it such an accident? That window is awfully high. Now that I think about it....) The war raging outside was just to cute to miss, those big teenage boys giggling and racing around the snow covered yard just tickled my fancy. Cuter still was the teenage girls that were soon walking up and down the street, giggling and tossing snowballs lightly at each other.
May you all be blessed with a white Christmas...

Happy snowball, Paula. You got your snow and then it came our way and now we really have a white world. Cute that the boys were having such fun. I suspect that snowball was exactly where it was intended to go. ~Adrienne~

I love a White Christmas, however I do have stipulations to it. It can arrive around 6 p.m. Christmas Eve (or begin its arrival then anyway) but just make sure it leaves by 6 p.m. Christmas Day or I turn into a mega grinch, ya know!

It doesn't snow often here either. So when it does there is excitement and snowball throwing also.

Its pretty. That is about the way it looks when we get snow here. I'm surprised you didn't go out and throw a few yourself.

That looks like lots of fun. I especialy like that pretty green grass that is peeking thru the snow.
I've been dressing like an eskimo when I go outside lately. It was 21 below this morning & is supposed to warm up to a balmy 6 below today!

I know what I'm bringing when I come over... a helmet! And maybe some armor too! I'll be watching you Dustin!

Nice to see them with such joy over something so simple.

Paula,

The boys seem to be having a lot of fun in the snow. We don't even have that much here, which seems odd when you consider we're in southern Ontario and you are where it rarely ever snows.

Just dropped by to let you know the beautiful Christmas swap book arrived.I was delighted when I opened it. You chose perfectly. I'm going to love this book and thank you also for the one on Corrie Ten Boom. I appreciate it.

Take care, my friend. I hope all is well with you.

Blessings,
Mary

It was no accident :)

You're never too old for a snowball fight. This was cute.
