My Very Own Apron

Remember all the aprons I made at Christmas time? Well, I finally decided enough was enough. It was time to make my very own apron, and abracadabra, here it is. I very excited to wear this and whip us up some tasty creations in my new kitchen. (no no! not yet! I'll tell you later. I don't want to jinx myself now!)

I found this fabric on ebay. Isn't it fantastic? I had something similar in mind, so when I ran across this one, I just had to make it mine!

May you all be blessed with a project of your very own...

I just finished some pillows. I made them out of vintage napkins that I got at a yard sale they have crocuse's on them & are for the window seat in my new bedroom.
I realy like your apron. I'll have to look for fabric on ebay!

I love to make aprons too - but I make the bib-type (chef's style). Just love finding pretty fabrics to make 'em from. Right now, I have a box with about 15-20 different aprons in it. The aprons, reversible vests and baby bibs, made from tee towels or fingertip towels with a rib trim at the neck and they slide over the baby or toddler's head, cover almost the entire body too are my favorite things to sew. The bibs also launder ultra easily and wear like iron and rarely do the kids outgrow them either!

Yeah, not sure "blessed" is the word I'd be using right about now as my project is cleaning out all the junk from our house for the yard sale on Saturday.

Speaking of which, it looks like it's going to be a NICE day---if you have anything you want to sell, bring it on by any time this week. Kath and I are opening at 9 am and Margaritas will be on the menu around noon. Come by and at least chat, m'kay?

And cute, cute apron. Can't wait to see your new digs!

I made some aprons last spring and ever since we decided to move, I just haven't felt like REALLY cooking.
Now that we are getting ready to close on the new house I am ready to get my aprons back out and really get busy!!!
By the way, did I mention that I love the name of your blog??? As the song says "I love a rainy night"!
God bless.
