Christmas Trivia

Miss Shilo and her nephew, Noah, would like to wish you a Merry Christmas.

I have decided to post Christmas trivia questions from now until Christmas day. I will be posting the question, then following up with the answer the next day (as long as we have power and I'm able to log on ~ a big wind storm is brewing right now~). I will be taking all of the comments with the right answers and putting them in a basket every day. Out of those correct guessers, I will pick one name from the basket after Christmas to recieve something special from me as a thank you for visiting me and playing along.
Todays question is:

What song contains the line "Let's be jolly, deck the halls with boughs of holly"?

I participated in the Christmas Ornament Swap hosted by Kathleen Marie at The Open Window. These are all the delightful ornaments that came to me from Miss Pea in Canada. Thank you, Pea. I love them. You went way above the call of duty with all of these darling ornaments. I have all the crystal-y suncather ornaments hanging in my kitchen window. They look beautiful...

Beautiful ornaments for sure and I loved the photo of Shiloh and Noah - too cute.
I see Pea says that line is from "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" which is what I was thinking too but wasn't sure about it. I'll take her word for it.

I hope you haven't blown away with those 100 mph winds! We are havin' some nasty weather here too due to Lake Effect snows. I have to be in NYC on Weds, and hoping my flight can take off (but I am on a jetBlue, so if anyone can take off it will be them).

Paula - I keep thinking about you and wondering if you lost your power or had any damage from the huge storm. Watching the news from the Portland area makes me wonder if you're doing OK. One way or another, prayers are going up for you and yours.

Noah is a cutie! He's impressed with Christmas, I can tell. Isn't he fun?

Paula,
I just heard on the news that you had severe storms in Oregon yesterday... are you all right in your section of Oregon?

Rockin Around the Christmas Tree, Have a Happy Holiday!!!
Wow, I know your phone lines are still out and it sounds like power is too. Okay, one day out of school for a storm is fun, but after that . . .
When things are restored you will know we are praying for you. Would drive down to check, but heard you can't get there from here until they get all the trees off the roads.
Be safe and keep the fireplace burning!
Love,
Susan and boys

Everyone: Those of you that check the blogs often, I wanted to let you know that I have heard from our father that everything is fine with Paula and the family. They have lots of firewood, and the power isn't expected to be restored until Friday or so. I thought I would let all of you know that. :-)
