WE'RE FLOATING AWAY....
It's been a little stormy here in the Pacific North-WET for several days now. We have been experiencing above average rainfall with over 4 inches falling from our sky's in the last 24 hours. This is the view yesterday morning from my office window. The Necanicum River is a tidal river, but nevertheless, this is still just a bit high. Here in Astoria we are safe and sound in our little blue cottage on the hill...

Wow- that's looing a little scary! I'm glad your cottage is cozy and sound! Hope it dries out some for you soon! (Though I wish it would rain here - I love rainy days - send some our way, ok?)
Wow, looks like you are in a boat :-)
We are also experiencing alot of rain and storm for the moment.
I like rain...we dont get much here in Arizona
This rain is really something isn't it? I'm to the north of you and we're starting to really hope things slow down a bit so the rivers will recede.
I love rainy days too for all the reasons that you mentioned in your previous post, but I worry for the folks whose homes are threatened.
You have such a nice blog!
I'm glad to hear that one more of our troops is home safe.
Best wishes!
My goodness you've been busy since I last stopped by. I love rain too, gives you the urge to snuggle up! Enjoyed reading about your house hunting and Dustin baking cookies, take care.
That water is incredible! I was in Seaside yesterday and couldn't believe all the newly formed lakes... and that was AFTER some of the water receded. DH had to drive to Tillamook on Monday. What would have been under a 2 hour drive... took all day ! Sure was weird to see the USCG patrolling US 101 (in Tillamook)!
PS... your photo does like you're in a boat!
