Autumn Equinox

"The sun is rising later now, and nightfall comes more quickly ... The time of the autumn equinox is here, when day and night are approximately equal in length." Quoted from EarthSky website~

Even though it was 90 degrees here at the beach yesterday (an unheard of event in any season!) and we are expecting more of the same for the rest of the week, I say "Welcome Fall! So good to see you!"

It is 38 degrees in my carport as I look at all the split wood that still needs to be stacked. We are suppose to get up to about 88 degrees today.

Yes fall is here, and I'm happy to see the piles of wood to be used this winter ... that reminds me, I need to clean out the wood stove and fill the wood box too. It won't be long now.

The temps are still around 90 here. A little cooler at night than it has been.
Autumn is so welcome.
I hope you are enjoying every last minute of your odd Autumn air.

I wanted to head to your part of the beach yesterday - but I couldn't. I've been 'homesick' for Astoria a lot lately. Thinking maybe we need to buy a little vacation place over that way. Don't I wish we could! Dream on - maybe someday. ~Adrienne~
